French Nordic folk band Skáld revealed a video in which they perform a digital live session of Rún, a track from their debut album Vikings Chant.
The video was recorded by vocalists and instrumentalists Justine Galmiche and Pierrick Valence as a way to help the fans to face what lies ahead the global COVID-19 crisis.
“Hi, folks. We hope you’re all healthy and forward-looking! We really wish that this time of introspection provided you the answers to enlighten your path and projects. We enjoyed sharing with you all lately and we got numerous reactions to our new music videos! This is why we wanted you to be a part of it, as our way to thank you. We received lots of drawn and engraved runes, and they’re a perfect match for the spare version of our song Rún. This new version was made to give all of you the boost and good vibes needed to face the future! Stay safe, take care of yourself and others. See you soon on the road.”
