Annie Hurdy Gurdy (Celtic folk – Germany) released a music video for the Irish traditional Brian Boru’s March, accompanied by Fabis Tunes and Fanny Herbst.
The singer, multi-instrumentalist, photographer and artist (whew), Annie Hurdy Gurdy (Krayenzeit, Comes Vagantes), invited Brisinga members Fabis Tunes and Fanny Herbst to honor one of Ireland’s most famous medieval historical figures. According to the legend, the Irish bards played the same tune for three days after the death in battle of the King Brian Boru, at his grave.
For the beautiful video, Annie played her signature hurdy-gurdy, as well as the bagpipes and recorder, while Fabis Tunes reinforced the “hurdy-gurdy team” and Fanny Herbst played the harp.
