Swedish Nordic Folk band Hindarfjäll released its first music video on Saturday (16) for the single Alvatid.

The video was directed by Leo Aadland. The group has not released any albums yet, but has already caught some attention on social media with its high quality Nordic folk music.

Hindarfjäll was founded in 2014 by Nils Edström and his friend Elias in Gothenburg, Sweden. Both are passionate about Norse mythology and folk music, especially Wardruna. For this reason, they decided to contribute to this growing scene, initially releasing the song Så som träden viskar hans Namn on their Facebook page. Those who listened to it, approved, encouraging them to continue composing. However, Elias was to leave the project shortly afterwards due to the little available time he had.

In Norse mythology, Hindarfjäll is the mountain where the Valkyrie Brunilda resides. She is one of the main characters of the Volga Saga and parts of the Poetic Edda. Likewise, the lyrics of their songs are about Norse mythology. In addition, they touch on themes that inspire them, such as Swedish landscapes and spiritualism.
