Nordic Folk artist Johnny Hexx announced the release of Scritta, the debut album of this project hailing from the United States that mixes influences from many musical genres.

The first album of a musician who is already familiar with the stages of festivals around the USA, at its core, Scritta embodies a sense of completeness, narrating the narrative of Johnny Hexx’s spiritual evolution. It carries a profound message of both unity and diversity, advocating for the acceptance of differences and the empowerment of self-identity.

The album was produced by Astral Synergy Productions, a music production company ran by Astralseid‘s Gustav Holberg, that according to its creator “is not a label but does a label’s work”. Every musician in its roster keeps all the rights to their art, thus being, in essence, an independent artist.

Scheduled to be released on May 17th, the CD version will feature 13 tracks and over 55 minutes of music, while the digital release will contain 11 tracks. Below, you can check one of the songs released as a music video last year, Fjolkyngi, a tune about a curse that transforms a person into a beast, reaffirming the animal nature of man, in spite of all technical progress.
