Described by Rúnahild as a personal journey through trauma and healing, Wounded Healer is inspired by the process of fighting against social anxiety and depression, aided by Mother Nature and her own music.
Diving deep in the shadows of her unconscious, Rúnahild examined the hardships faced by the ancestors in order to find a way to deal with her own troubles.
“My shadows and my light makes me whole on this ever-going process of transformation, acknowledging both the wounded and the healer within.”
The first single, that lends its name to the album, will come out on February 18th, but you can already check a work-in-progress version of it below. It will be followed by the song Sacred Lunar Blood, which will see the light of the day on March 18th. Wounded Healer will be released through Grimfrost Records.
