Skáld (Nordic Folk – France) announced the release date for their second album, Vikings Memories, along with its first single, Fimbulvetr.

After the departure of Mattjö Haussy, the (now) duo formed by Justine Galmiche and Pierrick Valence is back to announce the follow-up of Vikings Chant. In order to show us a little of what to expect of the upcoming release, they’ve revealed a new song, Fimbulvetr, inspired by the harsh winter that immediately precedes the events of the Ragnarök from Norse mythology.

Vikings Memories is available for pre-order and will be released via Decca Records (a division of Universal Music) on October 9th.
