Dutch one-mand band Gealdýr shared Druí, a new music video inspired by the druids and all their knowledge that was lost in time. The video was shot by award winning UK Film director/editor Oliver Hollingdale.

Druí merges ancient symbols with contemporary musical nuances to depict the profound comprehension of the earth’s rhythms by the Druids, revered during solstices and equinoxes. This composition encapsulates their conviction in the cyclical essence of existence, encompassing life, death, and rejuvenation.

The song presents the fact that significant understanding of the Druí (derived from “Druid” in Old Irish, also known as Old Gaelic) has been obscured, as it is thought that Druids were prohibited from documenting their wisdom in writing.

A few months ago, Gealdýr collaborated for the first time with the Italian duo A Tergo Lupi in a single titled Inn Riki (The Might One), a song portraying another dimension of the events of Ragnarök, one in which the Allfather Odin comes from above on his eight-legged horse Sleipnir to unleash his final judgment over his enemies.
