Dutch Epic Folk/Mythic Music band Cesair revealed a music video for Mélusine, a song from their upcoming album, Haven.
Mélusine tells the story of a water goddess caught between two worlds. The song is dedicated to everyone who feels out of place, serving as a reminder that you will eventually find where you belong.
Cesair biography
Mixing European and Eastern influences, Cesair derived its name from a mythological Irish princess. Founded in 2008, the band has played at the largest Pagan Folk and medieval music festivals in Europe, including as headliners at Castlefest.
Their lyrics are sung in several languages, including, but not limited to, Arabic, medieval Celtic languages, Spanish, Romance, Swedish, Occitan, Old English, Latin, Greek, Middle Dutch and Old Norse, using both original lyrics and old texts.
The band has already released three albums: Dies, Nox et Omnia (2013), Dies, Nox et Omnia: Sine Fine (2015) and Omphalos (2017).

Their former bandmates include Fieke van der Hurk, who still mixes and masters the band’s music, Faber Horbach from Sowulo and drummer/percussionist Jan de Vries.
The upcoming album
In September 6th, Cesair will release a new album, titled Haven, featuring 11 tracks. The album will be released in vinyl, CD and digital formats. You can already pre-order the physical versions from Dryland Records web shop.
