Nytt Land reveals new single: ‘Ballad of Gjallarhorn’

Nordic and Siberian folk band Nytt Land released a new single, called Ballad of Gjallarhorn.

Inspired by the mythical horn associated with the god Heimdallr in the Eddas, the song is an independent single, not related to any upcoming releases by the Russian duo formed by Natasha Pakhalenko (vocals, kravik lyre) and Anatoly Pakhalenko (throat singing, tagelharpa, drums & percussion).

Ballad of Gjallarhorn features violinist Evgenia Gapon as guest musician.
