Spyros Giasafakis (Daemonia Nymphe) released a music video for The Breath of Ydor, a song from his upcoming solo album Improvisations in Ancient Greek Instruments II.

Ydor (ὕδωρ) is the ancient Greek word for “water”. For the song, Giasafakis plays the “Ancient” Greek lyra and is joined by singers Victoria Couper and Rey Yusuf, also from Greek folk band Daemonia Nymphe.

As usual, Gisafakis plays a lyra crafted by ancient Greek instruments manufacturer Nikolaos Brass.
