Tuatha de Danann (Celtic folk metal – Brazil) released a music video for the Irish traditional song Guns and Pikes, which will be featured on their upcoming album, In Nomine Éirean.
According to the band, Guns and Pikes pays homage to great men and women that fought on behalf of their people, their rights and freedom.
Their version of the song features Irish singer FolkMooney, as well as the Brazilian musicians Alex Navar (uilleann pipes), Rafael Ávila (drums) and Raphael Tchurtis (guitars). The video was recorded by Rodrigo Barbieri at the Hasta Siempre Brewpub in Varginha, Brazil, as well at Loughshinny’s Martello Tower, Ireland, and edited by Raoni Joseph.
The artwork for the song was designed by Amanda Wayne.

In Nomine Éirean will be released later this month by the label Heavy Metal Rock, following a crowdfunding campaign, which you can still contribute to. The album will feature 8 folk metal versions of traditional Irish songs and 2 new tracks.
