Valravn, the second album of the Nordic Folk project Gealdýr, is now available on all major digital platforms.
A few months after the release of the debut album Sol, the Dutchman Jonathan Barendsma returns with seven compositions of that which has elevated him to one of the great names in Nordic folk music worldwide.
Valravn was released by Barendsma’s newly created label, Arvur Records, and was conceived as a soundtrack for the short films Valravn and Völuspá. Both productions are inspired by Norse mythology and will premiere on Amazon Prime (UK) in 2020.
