The Dutch band SeeD (Pagan Folk) released a music video for Zonnewende (Solstice), marking the longest night of the Northern Hemisphere.
Celebrating one of the most important dates of the Pagan calendar, SeeD transformed a druidic solstice ritual into music. The original lyrics are in Welsh, but they translated it to Irish for Zonnewende.

Lyrics – Zonnewende
Onóir dóibh siúd a bhí ina gcónaí os ár gcomhair,
Onóir dóibh siúd a leanann sinn.
Feiceann siad casadh an roth,
An timthriall gan deireadh a nascann linn go léir.
Deonaigh, a Bhandia, do chosaint
agus i gcosaint, neart
Agus i neart, tuiscint
Agus i dtuiscint, eolas
Agus in eolas, fírinne
Agus i bhfírinne, grá
Agus i ngrá, grá na maireachtála uile
Agus sa ghrá sin, grá an Bhandia agus an cruinne
Translation – Solstice
We honour those who lived before us
We honour those who follow
They all see the turning of the wheel,
The endless cycle that connects us all.
Grant, O Goddess, your protection
and in protection, strength
And in strength, understanding
And in understanding, knowledge
And in knowledge, truth
And in truth, love
And in love, the love of all existence
And in that love, the love of the Goddess and of all creation
