Sowulo (Nordic folk – Netherlands) unveiled a lyric video for Fæcele, as well as the digipack version of the storytelling album Grima.

Fæcele means “torch” in Anglo-saxon. With it, the band aims to invoke our “inner torch”, so that we may see into our inner selves, helping us gaining control over our own fates. Fæcele is based on Gungnirs Gap storytelling track from Grima. It tells the story of Odin hanging on Yggdrasil for nine days.

“This song is all about connecting with the power of the archetypical wisdom of the hanging man, and helps us to walk with it on the adventure we call the wheel of life.”

The band was joined by Emilie Lorentzen as guest singer. As instruments, they used the violin, cello, nyckelharpa and Celtic harp.

Sowulo also announced the release of the digipack-CD version of Grima, which will feature the 4 original storytelling tracks plus the two recently revealed singles, Fæcele and Spātle Ǣghwās. The release date hasn’t been disclosed as of yet.
