Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Spyros Giasafakis from the Greek folk band Daemonia Nymphe recently released a music video of his solo project.

The song is titled Archaia Ninemia and will be part of the album Improvisations in Ancient Greek Instruments II. As the name implies, the release will reunite compositions using ancient Greek instruments, a feature for which Daemonia Nymphe became known.

The album will feature special guest appearances by musicians such as the English singer Victoria Couper, who recorded the vocals in Archaia Ninemia and collaborates with Daemonia Nymphe on a regular basis. In the clip, Spyros Giasafakis plays a reconstruction of the ancient Greek lyre, designed by Nikolaos Brass.

The composer is currently in the process of recording the album, which has no confirmed release date yet.
