Hrafngrímr, the neo Nordic music project founded by former Skáld member Mattjö Haussy, has released a new single, Dómr.
This is the third song revealed so far by the musical collective that keeps on growing. Apart from Mattjö, Hrafngrímr is composed of Mus, Voron, Ysambre Algiz, Eve Emerii, Anso Remy, François “Fux” Xavier Filon, Nicolas Derolin and Mike Kadi.
Dómr is dedicated to Mattjö’s father, who passed away in April.

The new group aims to connect the past and the present with the use of ancient and modern instruments. Its themes bring modern and fantastical interpretations of Norse mythology and poetry. The lyrics have original texts in Old Norse from the Edda, but also with Celtic, Slavic and Germanic references.
