Einar Selvik (Wardruna) released Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – The Wave of Giants, a selection of his original songs for Ubisoft’s new game’s soundtrack.

The soundtrack for the latest Viking-themed digital Role-Playing Game (RPG) has been topping many charts worldwide. For the latest installment of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Ubisoft decided to invite one of the most suited artists to join composers Jesper Kyd and Sarah Schachner, in order to improve the player experience with a majestic Nordic soundscape.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – The Wave of Giants includes some tracks that aren’t featured in the 47-track official soundtrack or in the EPs. It was released via Lakeshore Records digitally and will get a vinyl version in early 2021.

The game is based on the conflicts between the Viking invaders and the Saxons during late 9th century. The player controls a (either male or female) warrior named Eivor, who’ll have to battle Wessex’s King Alfred the Great’s army in order to begin a new life far away from your home country in Norway.

The game was  released on November 10 for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
