Einar Selvik will stream a performance of the song Voluspá with an orchestra, as well as a full concert with Wardruna colleague Lindy-Fay Hella and Enslaved members.
Both performances are part of the Bergen International Festival 2020. Einar will be joined by the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Norwegian vocal ensemble the Edvard Grieg Kor on May 20th, 08.30pm CET, for the opening ceremony of the festival.
On the following day, May 21st, he’ll be joined by Lindy-Fay Hella, as well as Enslaved and the Ivar Bjørnson & Einar Selvik project members Ivar Bjørnson, Iver Sandøy, Silje Solberg and Håkon Vinje. The musicians will perform songs from Wardruna’s entire career, including Grá, from the upcoming album Kvitravn.
The concert will take place in the medieval Royal feasting hall Håkonshallen in Bergen, Norway.

Einar Selvik and his band Wardruna have shown to the world all the power of Norwegian contemporary folk music, reaching an ever growing following around the world. The musician has gained notoriety after writing music for the Vikings TV show (and even performing cameos in it), as well as for video games, such as the newly announced Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
