Tvinna, the band led by Laura Fella, Fiona Rüggeberg and Fieke van den Hurk, released its debut album, One – In the Dark.
Featuring 9 tracks, the album is the first of four chapters, in which Tvinna breaks down the different stages of life (each linked to one of the four elements). One – In the Dark is connected to the first chapter of our life: the state of being unborn and the process of birth, reflected through the element of water in its different shapes.
Laura Fella (Faun), Fiona Rüggeberg (ex-Faun) and producer Fieke van der Hurk (Omnia, Pyrolysis, Cesair) are accompanied by Rafael Salzmann (Eluveitie) on the guitars and bass, as well as Jasper Barendregt (ex-Ulsect) on the drums and electronic percussion. The album features Faroese singer and instrumentalist Eivør in the song Kreiz, as well as Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie) in The Gore.
One – In the Dark was released via By Norse Music, in limited electric blue gatefold-LP (100 copies), black edition gatefold-LP, CD digipak (with a 24 pages booklet) and digital format (including digital booklet). You can order the album from the label’s official web shop.
