Astralseid (Electro-Folk – Norway), the project of Gustav Holberg and Rúnahild, released its second album, Shamanic Love.
Gustav Holberg and Rúnahild are notorious for their multiple ventures into Nordic Folk music. Their songs are rooted in the traditions of Scandinavia, even if they are creating something completely new. With Astralseid, they tried to take that same spirit to the stars, so to speak. To this end, they have blended electronic instruments with shamanic chants and organic sounds.
The duo has also recently lent their powerful voices to the song Ritet, from Kjell Braaten‘s recently released album, Ferd.
Shamanic Love features 4 tracks and was released digitally. You can order it from Astralseid’s Bandcamp page.
