After the release of Hertan, Wardruna announced a new world tour across four continents to promote the new phase for the Norwegian band. Tickets will begin to be sold on next Friday, April 12th.

Most of the tour will take place all over Europe, including several dates on their home country of Norway, but the band will also do a new performance at the Red Rocks stage in Colorado, US. Wardruna will also return to Brazil after seven years, while also playing for the first time in Mexico and Chile, as well as four gigs between Australia and New Zealand.

Wardruna in pop culture

Known by many for the soundtracks of the Vikings TV series and for the work of their vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Einar Selvik, on the soundtrack of the game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the band has been inspiring a legion of artists around the world, creating a true school on how to create a modern sound using historical Nordic musical instruments.
